Stainless Steel Pauldrons – 16 Gauge

Description

This set of pauldrons are crafted from 16 gauge stainless steel plates riveted to an interior backing of thick leather strips to provide a framework and articulation for the armor. Additional rondel disc plates can be tied into position or removed if desired with thick leather cords, which are included. The interior of the pauldrons are blackened

The pauldrons are supported by a steel buckle and strap which can be buckled into a loop which is intended to fit around an anchoring point on a gorget or breastplate / cuirass. Alternatively, if the gorget or breastplate has a steel buckle then this pauldron strap can be used to fit into an opposing buckle on the gorget or breastplate. A set of leather straps and steel buckles fit the armor around the chest and upper arm providing additional support and allowing them to be worn without a gorget if desired.

A gorget was used to photograph these pauldrons – it has been artificially blackened in the photos because it is not included with the pauldrons. It is recommended that these pauldrons be paired with Epic Armoury brand gorgets and breastplates for an optimal fit.
