Description
This English Royal Shield is crafted from 18 gauge steel and is hand-painted upon its face with the heraldry of three Lions Rampant over a crimson field; a Coat of Arms used by many English medieval monarchs over the period of 1198 – 1369 – included among them was Richard the Lionheart and Edward I, as well as Edward III before he famously modified it after making a claim for the throne of France.
The reverse of the shield is blackened and its grip is wood with welded steel side-tabs.
