This mail standard is constructed from a base of thick leather overlaid with stitched-in dome-riveted flat rings of titanium. It can be adjusted to fit with a pair of leather straps and brass buckles.The use of titanium makes the rings strong, while greatly reducing the weight of this armor piece in comparison to standard mail.
