The French style Bascinet helmet is made for the warrior who wants it call. This helmet is forged by hand from 16 gauge carbon steel and can withstand an an infinity of blows. The cone-like shape towards the top of the helmet is made to guide blows down the side and deflect anything from the wearer’s face and crown. The wire mask is perfect for a battle because it doesn’t distort vision or limit the wearer’s breathing like most helmets. This helmet is perfect for reenactments, cosplay or LARP. Removable rust free oil is included.
