Aventail for Helm – Flat Riveted – Solid Flat Rings Mild Steel

Description

This chainmail aventail is crafted from mild steel flat rings which are wedge-riveted in their construction – these are alternated with solid flat rings. The individual rings measure 9 mm in diameter and are 18 gauge in thickness. The chainmail is sewn to a leather band which can be riveted into a helmet.
