14th Century Bascinet with Visor

Description

The 14th Century Bascinet is constructed from 14 gauge steel. The hinged visor can be raised, and it can be secured in the down position with it strap and brass buckle. A series of brass pegs with pre-drilled holes are fitted to the bottom of the helm and can be used to fit a chainmail aventail. The interior of the helm is blackened and is fitted with an adjustable padded cotton suspension liner.
