Since I love to see interesting backgrounds which tie into a theme of a paper doll, and I love to create lovely images using paper dolls, well, this allows me to have a ball putting together all components to make these frameable paper doll art prints. This set is made from Gloria Peters, Airline Hostess. As there were four costumes, there are four prints, each combined with vintage travel posters. They are not authentic to the time period of the paper doll, but used for design effect. That bold Deco design works well with the hard-edged line work of Miss Botts, and the coloring that I have added. In these posters, Gloria is visiting: New York City (early 1930s WPA poster) Montana (early 30s WPA poster by R. Halls) Las Vegas (1950s TWA poster) and Chicago 1934 World’s Fair (poster by Weimer Purcell) Each print is laser printed on archival 80# coverstock, size 8.5″ x 11″, and stored in a crystal clear seal-top bag. Not die-cut. You cut them out with scissors, the old fashioned way. All archival; 80# coverstock covers, and 32# inside pages. Smooth-fine-grained papers, easy to cut.
